The History of Our Hotel
Hotel Torremayor Lyon was established in Santiago’s Providencia neighborhood in July of 1994. Featuring charming Mediterranean architecture, our hotel is set in one of the most iconic and beautiful streets in Providencia, close to several points of interest as well as cultural and commercial districts.
The name Torremayor Lyon, which refers to the famous towers that stand out in the main squares of the Mediterranean towns of Spain and Italy, is already a recognized brand in national hotels. To please our guests, every hotel features a warm and tasteful décor, where the use of national woods is perfectly mixed with furniture brought from Italy. The clock that adorns the top of our tower was commissioned from a company in the Italian town of Uscio. This business is dedicated to making clocks for Italian landmarks, including for the Vatican itself.
Our organization integrates sustainability into its management, always considering the local economic, sociocultural and environmental spheres. We ensure that our operations are as responsible as possible, enhancing our positive impacts (stimulating the local economy and highlighting culture and supporting communities) while minimizing possible negative impacts (environmental and social).
